The Ontiveros-Mulder Endowed Scholarship Fund

An endowed scholarship awarded to a full-time Doctor of Chiropractic student with financial need who exhibits academic excellence in previous studies and active participation within their local community. Those who meet the following criteria will be prioritized accordingly: 1st consideration to a Hispanic student on the Davenport campus who has been a Boys & Girls Club of America member as well as a resident of Rock Island County, Illinois, Scott County, Iowa or Ottawa County, Michigan; 2nd consideration to a Hispanic student on the Florida campus who has been a Boys & Girls Club of America member and a resident of one of the previously mentioned counties; 3rd consideration to a Hispanic student on the Davenport campus who is a member of one of the previously mentioned counties; 4th consideration given to a Hispanic student on the Florida campus who is a resident of one of the previously mentioned counties; 5th consideration for a Hispanic student on the Davenport campus; 6th consideration to a Hispanic student on the Florida campus. Qualified applicants will submit a short essay on why they feel qualified to receive the award, emphasizing their financial need, past academic success and community involvement. The amount of the award will be a minimum of $500 with a maximum award amount being subject to the annual amount available, not to exceed the amount of one standard approved Academic term’s tuition. As available balances increase, multiple awards may be given at the discretion of College.
