Mid-Florida Chiropractic Society Endowed Scholarship

An endowed scholarship awarded to students in the Doctor of Chiropractic program on the Florida campus who are Florida residents from one of the select counties (Alachua; Marion; Citrus; Sumter; Lake; Madison; Taylor; Hamilton; Suwanee; Lafayette; Dixie; Levy or Gilchrist) or a graduate of the University of Florida and currently in their 2nd quarter or above. Preference will be given to those students involved in either extra-curricular activities through campus clubs or organizations or community involvement and carries a minimum 3.0 cGPA. Qualified applicants must submit a short essay on “Why is it important to be involved in a chiropractic organization, such as the FCA after graduation?” or “Chiropractic is 3-fold: science, art and philosophy. What does that mean to you and your future practice?”. The amount of the award will be a minimum of $900 with a maximum award amount being subject to the annual amount available, not to exceed the amount of one standard approved Academic term’s tuition. As available balances increase, multiple awards may be given at the discretion of College.
